Reports to: Head of HSQE & Facilities
Hours: 37.5 Mon-Fri 09:00-17:00
Location: Travel between all Staci UK sites, North and Midlands
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 DOE

Job purpose
The Facilities Manager will be responsible for planned and unplanned maintenance and facilities improvement projects across all UK sites.
Will deputise for Head of HSEQ & Facilities
Key Responsibilities
· Maintenance & development of all facilities systems
· Ensure compliance to all relevant H&S regulations and requirements for employees and contractors
· Lead contractor manager for improvement projects, including high risk activities
· Deliver HSEQ & Facilities training
· Some Health & Safety duties including risk assessment
· Responsible for Capex, R&M (~£800,000) and Improvement budgets
Critical Skills
● Thorough understanding Facilities Management
● NEBOSH certified
● Asbestos and Legionella management certified
● Thorough understanding of Health and Safety requirements
● Excellent problem solving skills
● In depth knowledge and experience of robust contractor management
● Focussed on Quality and Continual Improvement.
● Able to make decisions balancing risk, cost and business requirements
● Conduct risk assessments
● Excellent interpersonal skills, working with employees at all levels of the business and many external providers
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
● Excellent planning, organisational and prioritisation skills
● Effective leader and manager with a ‘can-do’ attitude
● Effectively lead the maintenance operators to deliver a high level of service
● Conduct team member appraisals, return to work interviews, accident/incident and disciplinary investigations
● Flexibility to attend & support all UK sites
