As a Band 6 Sister/Charge Nurse, you will provide clinical leadership within the Emergency Department, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and compassionate patient care.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading and coordinating patient care within a busy Emergency Department.
Supporting patient flow and discharge planning in partnership with the multidisciplinary team.
Promoting a patient-centred approach and delivering high standards of evidence-based care.
Providing education, advice, and support to patients, families, and carers.
Maintaining accurate clinical records and ensuring compliance with professional standards.
Helping to create and maintain a safe and efficient clinical environment.
Supporting the implementation of clinical policies, protocols, and quality improvement initiatives.
Supervising, mentoring, and developing junior staff, students, and healthcare support workers.
Acting as a role model for excellent communication, professionalism, and compassionate care.
