Duties
- Lead and supervise the food production process, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards and presentation expectations
- Oversee food preparation activities, including cooking, plating, and portioning to maintain consistency and efficiency
- Manage kitchen staff by assigning tasks, and motivating team members to achieve their best performance
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards to guarantee a safe dining environment
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and control waste to optimize kitchen operations
Requirements
- Proven experience in a culinary or restaurant setting with demonstrated food preparation and cooking skills
- Supervising experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment with team management responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of food safety protocols and sanitation practices
- Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team
- Solid understanding of kitchen operations, including food production, serving, and hospitality standards
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant roles is highly desirable
