We are looking for a Delegate Service Coordinator & Office Administrator to join our growing team. This is an office-based role where you will be the primary point of contact for attendees of events we work on, to assist with their registration and enquiries. This role will also include some broader office administration, offering support to our wider team.

General outline of role and duties:
We are looking for a Delegate Service Coordinator & Office Administrator to join our growing team. This is an office-based role where you will be the primary point of contact for attendees of events we work on, to assist with their registration and enquiries. This role will also include some broader office administration, offering support to our wider team.
Job detailsPrimary Role: Delegate Services Coordinator:
- Provide the key point of contact for delegates or attendees to a wide range of client events, seeking support for registration or general event enquiries, over the phone and over email.
- Administer event registrations across multiple projects and clients using our in-house systems to check, edit and confirm event bookings.
- Liaise with event project managers internally, and sometimes externally, to find answers to new queries, and then relay them back to delegates.
- Ensure event delegate data is kept clean and accurate, and that any reporting is accurate and presentable for internal and external use.
Additional Role: Office Administrator:
- Provide general administrative support for the company and event projects as required.
- Answer the phone and take / direct calls as appropriate.
- Financial processing for events and the company in general.
- Oversee incoming and outgoing deliveries.
- Manage and maintain general office supplies.
- Manage the general office environment.
- Provide support to other aspects of company life as required.
Competencies and qualifications:
- Organised, methodical but flexible approach to work, dealing with multiple requests on multiple projects simultaneously, sometimes in time-sensitive situations.
- Excellent, efficient customer service skills – able to deal with attendees and clients who are often senior managers in their own organisations.
- Keen eye for detail, with the ability to keep track of a lot of data, requests and processes which may differ from event to event.
- Professional and presentable in high-end corporate environments.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently. Able to manage time effectively and work autonomously.
- A strong understanding of office software (esp. MS Excel).
- Prior professional work experience (administrative or customer-facing roles preferred).

Terms
- Based at our office in Brighton.
- Base salary of £26-29K pro rata depending on experience and capabilities.
- 25 days’ holiday, 3 of which must be taken over Christmas plus 8 Public Holidays (all pro rata).
Pay: £26,000.00-£29,000.00 per year
