Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards.
- Greet guests warmly and take their orders accurately, ensuring prompt service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and bar equipment.
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age and adhere to licensing laws.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the POS system efficiently.
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure the bar is fully equipped throughout the shift.
- Engage with guests in a friendly manner, fostering a welcoming environment.
- Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations diligently.
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality or as a bartender is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service.
- Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Good organisational skills to manage multiple orders during busy periods.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Effective time management to ensure timely service during shifts.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
