Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Labourer to join our team for playground construction and installation projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, contribute to community spaces, and develop hands-on skills in construction and site preparation. The ideal candidate will be proactive, safety-conscious, and eager to learn, helping us deliver high-quality playgrounds that bring joy and safety to children and communities alike. Pick up will be from Basildon so will either need to live in Basildon or able to drive there
Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of construction sites, including clearing, leveling, and setting up work areas.
- Load, unload, and organize materials, tools, and equipment required for playground installation.
- Support the assembly and installation of playground structures according to project specifications.
- Operate basic tools and machinery safely under supervision, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Follow detailed instructions from supervisors to ensure precise placement and secure installation of equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency on site.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in construction or manual labor is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy objects, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to safety procedures with a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions clearly.
- Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn new skills in a dynamic outdoor setting.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools or willingness to develop technical skills is a plus.
