Please note: This is a community-based role. Applicants must hold a full UK driving licence, have access to their own vehicle as travel between clients’ homes is essential, and already have the legal right to work in the UK.

About the Role
We are looking for dedicated, compassionate Domiciliary Care Workers to join our growing team. You will provide hands-on care and support to people in their own homes, following individualised care plans and promoting independence, choice, and wellbeing.
This role is ideal for carers who are confident supporting diverse needs, including complex cases, and who understand the importance of building trusting, respectful relationships with clients and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality personal care in line with individual care and support plans
- Support with washing, bathing, dressing, continence care, and personal hygiene while maintaining dignity and respect
- Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and safe moving and handling
- Support clients with medication at the agreed level, in line with training and care plans
- Provide emotional support, reassurance, and companionship
- Prepare meals and drinks in line with nutritional, cultural, and personal preferences
- Carry out light domestic duties such as cleaning, laundry, and tidying as outlined in the care plan
- Accurately record care delivered using care notes or digital systems
- Observe changes in clients’ physical or mental health and report concerns promptly
- Work in line with safeguarding, health and safety, infection control, and confidentiality policies
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, managers, families, and other professionals
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
- Previous experience working in domiciliary care or similar care settings
- Experience supporting people with diverse needs, including complex care
- Knowledge or experience of epilepsy, dementia/Alzheimer’s etc.
- Ability to provide safe, compassionate personal care while preserving dignity
- Understanding of medication support and care documentation
- Good communication skills and a caring, respectful approach
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle
