We are expanding our services throughout the North East and are looking for a HCPC Registered Podiatrist to join our growing community team.
The Role
As a Podiatrist with L&R Care Home Podiatry UK, you will provide routine podiatry care to residents in care homes across the region. You will play an important role in helping residents maintain foot health, mobility, and independence.
This role is ideal for a podiatrist who enjoys community-based practice, autonomy, and building positive relationships with care home teams and residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide routine podiatry treatments including nail care and callus reduction
- Assess and monitor foot health in elderly residents
- Maintain clear and accurate clinical records
- Build positive working relationships with care home staff
- Deliver care in accordance with HCPC standards and infection control protocols
- Support residents in maintaining comfort and mobility through effective foot care
Requirements
- HCPC Registered Podiatrist (essential)
- Degree in Podiatry
- Compassionate approach when working with elderly patients
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently in a community setting
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle essential
