Hours: 29.5 hours per week for each post
Sleepovers: 7 per week to share between 4 Care Assistants
Rate of Pay: £13.45 per hour
Sleepover Rate: £70 per sleepover
A friendly 56-year-old gentleman with Cerebral Palsy is looking for caring and reliable Personal Care Assistants to support him in living independently at home. This rewarding role includes personal care, daily living support, attending appointments, and helping him enjoy social and community activities.
The package includes 118 care hours and 7 sleepovers per week, shared between a team of four Personal Care Assistants. Shift patterns will be discussed at interview.
A full UK driving licence is essential, as you will be driving the employer's automatic wheelchair-accessible vehicle.
Main Duties:
- Personal care, including washing, dressing and toileting
- Moving and handling using a hoist and sling
- Meal preparation and light household tasks
- Shopping, errands and appointments
- Supporting social activities, outings and occasional holidays
- Promoting independence and wellbeing
What We're Looking For
- Caring, patient and dependable
- Flexible and able to work as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence required
- Previous care experience is helpful but not essential, as full training will be provided.
