Salary: £28,412 - £43,000 (with £43,000 being the average OTE including price work and callout)
Location: Covers M15, M16, M31, M32, M33, M41, WA14, WA15 areas
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Hours: 40
Working pattern: Monday to Friday with on-call requirements
Holiday entitlement: 20 + Bank Holidays (increases with service)
About the role
Carry out high‑quality gas servicing, ensuring homes remain safe, compliant and fully supported. You’ll work independently across your designated area, delivering a professional service while representing our values and commitment to customer care.
What you’ll be doing
Routine servicing of heating systems across housing association properties
Diagnose and resolve faults efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to residents
Carry out compliance checks (e.g., gas safety, electrical testing, equipment inspections) in line with regulatory standards
What we’re looking for
Valid domestic and/or commercial gas qualifications. As a minimum, successful candidates must have the following: CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1 (essential)
Previous servicing experience across various boilers
Valid UK driving licence (essential)
Previous practical experience in gas maintenance within a domestic capacity
Solid understanding of gas safety regulations and industry standards
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
A professional and friendly attitude with the ability to forge strong relationships with both clients and tenants
