Vehicle Security & Tracking Installation Technician

About the role
We're a Milton Keynes–based vehicle security and tracking specialist, fitting GPS trackers and dashcams for private owners, small businesses, and managed fleets. We're looking for a hands-on Installation Technician with some auto-electrical or vehicle installation experience to join the team.
You'll be installing and configuring tracking and security equipment across a wide range of vehicles, working both at our base and on-site at customer locations throughout the MK, HP, OX, NN, AL, and WD areas.
What you'll be doing
- Installing GPS trackers, dashcams, and associated vehicle security equipment
- Wiring and connecting devices to vehicle electrical systems neatly and reliably
- Testing and configuring units to confirm correct operation before handover
- Diagnosing and resolving installation or connectivity issues
- Keeping accurate job records and communicating clearly with customers
- Maintaining a tidy, professional standard of work on every vehicle
What we're looking for
- Some experience in auto-electrics, vehicle installation, or a related hands-on trade
- Confident working with 12V and 24V vehicle electrical systems and reading wiring diagrams
- A careful, methodical approach and pride in a clean install
- Good communication skills and a professional manner with customers
- A full, clean UK driving licence
- Must be eligible to be insured on company vehicles
- Reliability and the ability to work independently on the road
Nice to have
- Experience fitting trackers, dashcams, alarms, or immobilisers
- Familiarity with a range of vehicle makes and models, including vans and fleet vehicles
