Job description:
This role supports all aspects of product production and packaging across the business. While the position may primarily focus on a specific operational area, it also offers exposure to a variety of functions. As a valued member of the team, you will play an important role in the success of the business and will be encouraged to contribute ideas that help improve processes, efficiency, and overall performance.
The starting Salary for a Machine operative will start at £12.25 and will rise to £12.60 after 3 month trail period.
Overtime when needed (optional)
Production -
· * Production of products from powder and liquid blends.
· * Operating machinery to a safe standard following correct procedures
· * Final product sieving, weighing and packing
· * Neat and accurate completion of production paperwork where required.
· * Following works orders
· * Keeping work areas clean and tidy.
Cleaning -
· * Assist with team duties in completion of the clean schedule for factory.
· * Carry out machine cleaning procedures
· * Carry out cleaning of bulk containers
Health & Safety -
· * Operation of machinery in accordance with laid down procedures (MP’s) and health and safety instructions.
· * To work for the achievement of quality and food safety at all times.
· * To follow procedures for the wearing of PPE
· * To follow procedures for the handling of chemicals.
· * Carry out employee responsibilities under The Health & Safety at work Act 1974.
· * Any other ad hoc duties as instructed.
The company has more than one site and you could be asked to work at these other sites.

Company work hours –
7.00 am – 15.45pm Mon – Thurs paid 15 min break unpaid 30 min dinner
7.00am – 14.30pm Friday unpaid 30 min dinner
40 hours per week.

8.00am – 17.00pm Mon – Thurs paid 15 min break unpaid 30 min break
8.00 am - 14.30pm Friday unpaid 30 min break
40 hours per week .
