Prismaflex is looking for an experienced Industrial Sewing Machinist to join our team in Newhaven. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is confident using industrial sewing machinery, including overlockers, and has experience working with dye-sublimation textiles.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate industrial sewing machines to produce high-quality finished products.
- Work with dye-sublimation textiles and other materials.
- Carry out quality checks on completed orders.
- Ensure all work meets company quality standards.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues to meet production targets.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 3 years' experience operating industrial sewing machines.
- Experience using overlock machines.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Reliable, motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced production environment.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Industrial sewing machine operation (3+ years).
- Quality inspection and finishing of orders.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Experience with dye-sublimation textiles is advantageous.
