We are currently recruiting for a Parts Manager to join us at our Vertu BMW York dealership, representing one of the most prestigious and innovative automotive brands in the world. This is a full time permanent position offering a competitive basic salary with an OTE up to £40,000 plus company benefits including share incentive scheme and much more.

As our Parts Manager you will oversee the parts department, and will be responsible for maximising departmental profitability and achieving the departmental business plan. You will also be responsible for effectively controlling and maintaining resources, including stocks and equipment, while minimising the risk of financial loss to the company. You will be required to lead and develop the team in order to create a motivational working environment, support colleague retention, encourage continuous improvement and promote enhanced performance across the department.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing daily Parts Department operations to ensure efficiency and profitability
- Managing stock levels, ordering and inventory control to meet business demands
- Leading, motivating and developing the parts team to achieve departmental objectives
- Building strong relationships with internal departments and external customers
- Monitoring performance against KPIs and implementing improvements where required
It is essential that you are able to demonstrate a successful track record within a managerial position in a Parts Department. You must have strong leadership and people management skills, as your primary focus is to lead your team to successfully deliver their business objectives.
You will be expected to drive the business forward, maximise customer satisfaction and ensure operational efficiency whilst motivating and managing the whole team. You will be able to demonstrate that you share our company values and possess strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
