Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to handle heavy lifting as needed. The Delivery Driver will operate a van or similar vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
Job description
The job that you apply for pays usually £128.5/day (withut VAT) or £155 (with Vat). Because with us is never enough, during the Christmas period drivers will get extra income and we can always get more, based on our teamwork everyone can get extra bonuses, please ask for more info about this.
Once you have completed your account and your DBS check is back, we will book you for training ( training is also paid with £100/day ) and Ride along ( you will go on a road with one of our experienced drivers and they will show you how to load, deliver and use our apps ). Once you have completed this you will be given nursery level routes that give you a percentage of your route to start with. Our job is 9h but obviously, once you finish with your last parcel you are done for the day.
About our vans, they are all Ford Transit but we also have some rentals. You will NOT be charge for vans and fuel. Also very important, all our vans will be taken from our depo and will come back in the car park after your route is completed, nice and tidy for next day.

What Is Required To Be Part Of Our Team:
- Be fit, customer focused and self motivated.
- Have good spoken and written English
- Have no more than 6 penalty points on their current Driving Licence
- Be over 21 y old
- Have no endorsements on their license in relation to offence codes - CD40, CD50, CD60, CD70,CD80,CD90, DD40, DD60, DD80, DD90, DR10, DR20, DR30, DR40, DR50, DR60, DR70, DR80, DR90, IN10, MS50, UT50, TT99
- Be required to complete and pass a CRB check upon induction paid for by Aston Core LTD
- Six months multi-drop experience is preferred but not essential.
- Be able to commute to and from the depot in Ipswich
You will need to bring the following documents:
- Driving Licence (with no more than 6 points) and be over 21
- National Insurance Number
- Right to Work Documents (Passport, ID CARD or Birth Certificate)
- Proof of address (no more than 3 months old)
- UTR Number if self employed
- VAT Reg number IF VAT registered
