We are currently looking to recruit a commercially driven Key Account Executive to join our team, managing and growing a portfolio of Discount & Retail customers within our Sales & Distribution division.
- Managing and developing a portfolio of up to 8 Discount/Retail accounts, delivering sales and margin targets
- Building strong relationships with Buying, Commercial and Supply Chain contacts
- Acting as the day-to-day contact for operational and commercial queries
- Supporting delivery of Joint Business Plans (JBPs) and promotional activity
- Building and maintaining accurate forecasts for volume and value performance
- Analysing sales data, EPOS and customer trends to identify growth opportunities
- Tracking promotional performance and influencing future activity
- Supporting pricing, promotional planning and new product launches
- Processing and reconciling invoices, rebates and promotional investments
- Identifying distribution gaps and new product opportunities
- Maintaining accurate customer records, pricing files and promotional calendars
- Preparing reports, presentations and customer insights
- Working cross-functionally with Commercial, Supply Chain, Finance and Customer Service teams
- Strong commercial awareness and analytical capability
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience in forecasting, sales planning and data analysis
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills (Power BI advantageous)
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proactive, resilient and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- A team-focused, self-motivated individual who is adaptable to change
- Experience within FMCG, wholesale, discount or retail environments preferred
- Previous experience in account management, sales support or commercial roles (e.g. Key Account Executive, Commercial Assistant, Sales Executive)
