About the Role
ARO Resourcing is recruiting on behalf of our client, a hotel, a well-established guesthouse and events venue based in Cheadle, Stoke-on-Trent.
Our client is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to support the day-to-day operation of the hotel. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous hospitality or hotel management experience who is passionate about delivering outstanding customer service and ensuring the smooth running of the business.
The successful candidate will work closely with the management team to maintain high operational standards while providing an excellent experience for guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day management of the hotel.
- Assist with guest check-ins, enquiries, and reservations.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure a positive guest experience.
- Support the coordination of conferences, weddings, and other events.
- Assist with stock control and ordering supplies.
- Help oversee daily hotel operations and ensure high service standards are maintained.
- Support staff with daily duties and help ensure the hotel operates efficiently.
- Complete administrative tasks and maintain accurate records where required.
- Ensure health and safety procedures are followed.
- Assist management with any other operational duties as required.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in a hotel, hospitality, or guesthouse environment.
- Experience in an Assistant Manager, Duty Manager, Supervisor, or similar hospitality role.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends where required.
- Right to work in the UK.
