About the role
A&B Services Liverpool Limited is an established construction and maintenance contractor based in Bootle. Due to our growing workload, we are looking for an experienced Joiner/Multi-Skilled Joiner to join our team.
You will work across a range of planned maintenance, refurbishment, commercial fit-out and fire-compliance projects throughout Liverpool and the wider North West.
Main duties
- Completing first-fix and second-fix joinery.
- Installing and repairing doors, frames, ironmongery, skirting, architraves, worktops and other joinery items.
- Undertaking planned and reactive maintenance.
- Completing general multi-trade tasks within your experience and competence.
- Working from drawings, specifications and job instructions.
- Identifying and reporting any additional work or materials required.
- Completing job reports and photographic records.
- Ensuring work is completed safely, professionally and to a high standard.
Requirements
- At least three years’ professional joinery experience.
- Strong first-fix, second-fix and maintenance joinery skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Professional and reliable approach.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Willingness to undergo an appropriate DBS check, as some work is completed in schools.
Experience in commercial refurbishment, fire-door installation or maintenance, and additional trade skills would be beneficial. Relevant qualifications and training are desirable, although further training may be provided.
