Kelly Farm Consulting is an independent consultancy practice serving farms and rural businesses across the South West of England. One of our key services is the provision of bookkeeping, payroll, and general administration support to a wide range of businesses.
We are delighted to offer fantastic opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. This is not your typical bookkeeping role. Every day is different, and you'll work directly with a variety of farming and rural business clients, providing both financial and practical administrative support.
The Role
You will be responsible for:
- Bookkeeping, reconciliation & VAT returns for client accounts
- Payroll administration
- Payment of supplier invoices and bill management
- Updating and maintaining farm livestock and field records
- General administrative support to our clients
Your role will be based at our main office at Aust, although regular travel to local client premises will be required.
You will be working with a fantastic small team, who are always here to support each other.

What We’re Looking For
- Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Confidence on the telephone and the ability to work independently
- Previous bookkeeping experience (essential)
- Experience working with Xero (highly desirable)
- A keen interest in agriculture (desirable)
- A full driving licence (essential)
