The workload will be a combination of service development/management and clinical practice in echocardiography at our Cardiac Investigation Unit - Charing Cross Hospital. Lead our Charing Cross Hospital Cardiac Investigation Unit.
Perform highly specialised echocardiographic investigations for adults and children, including advanced techniques like Doppler imaging and strain rate analysis, and independently issue diagnostic reports.
Assess clinical needs and prioritise echocardiographic investigations to ensure timely, effective patient care.
Provide supervision, informal teaching, and training to trainees, registrars, and other staff, enhancing their technical and clinical understanding.
Assist in organising the department's daily workload, maintaining quality standards, and supporting service innovation and efficiency. Not limited to Echocardiography.
Maintain accurate electronic records of imaging, measurements, and diagnostic reports, and contribute to audit activities and clinical data analysis.
Ensure all echocardiography equipment is fully functional, safe, and used appropriately, adhering to infection control and health and safety standards.
