Job Overview
We are looking for a passionate Dental Therapist to join our established, modern practice on a part time basis. The ideal candidate will be proficient in providing a range of dental treatments utilising the full dental therapist scope of practice.
Responsibilities
- Provide a range of dental treatments, including preventative care, restorative procedures, and oral health education.
- Assist in the diagnosis and treatment planning by taking and interpreting dental radiographs and medical imaging
- Develop individualised treatment plans and collaborate with other dental professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment notes and imaging results
- Engage with patients empathetically, ensuring a pain-free and positive dental experience.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients and collaborate with team members
- Diploma or degree in dental therapy and full registration with the GDC
- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with the latest advancements in dental therapy.
