Candidates must have the right to live and work in the UK and be within commutable distance to Newcastle town Centre, Stoke town centre, Longton and Basford. Unfortunately we cannot consider candidates that do not meet this criteria at this time.
- To assist with the day-to-day operation of the Supported Living units providing support to our clients including daily living skills, prompting personal hygiene, some clients do require elements of personal care, support with meal preparation, cleaning, laundry, shopping, attending appointments, accessing community activities.
- You will work within a team including Team Lead's, Support Workers & Night Support Workers, providing support to service users within our supported living units or within service users own homes.
- You will need to have your own vehicle with business insurance to visit service users who live within the community and supporting them to attend appointments, activities and shopping where required.
- To liaise as needed with external organisations, including the local authority regarding service user care needs or emergency situations that may arise.
- To conform to the Company Code of Professional Conduct.
Shift Times and Locations:
- Full and part time availability, working every other weekend.
- Shift time 08:00-20:00, minus a 1 hour unpaid break.

The successful candidate will have:
- Diploma in Health & Social Care Level 2 or above, or be willing to work towards.
- Previous experience in care (Experience in Supported Living an advantage).
- Good IT skills and competency in Microsoft Office.
- Good verbal and written skills.
- Good organisational skills.
- Good time management.
- Full clean driving licence (with full use of vehicle & business insurance) would be advantageous or must be able to make own way to and from the clients property.
