Mytton Fold Hotel is a beautifully restored, family-owned hotel and wedding venue in the heart of the Ribble Valley. We are now looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Front of House Supervisor to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about hospitality who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, bar, and lounge areas
- Deliver outstanding customer service and ensure guest satisfaction at all times
- Support the Restaurant Manager or Banqueting Manager in leading, training, and motivating the front of house team
- Take the lead on the floor during service, ensuring smooth and efficient operations
- Assist with planning and delivering weddings, private functions, and large-scale events
- Uphold high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and health & safety
- Handle customer feedback and resolve any issues quickly and professionally
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within a busy hospitality setting
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- A hands-on approach with a passion for delivering exceptional service
- Ability to work under pressure, particularly during high-volume events
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Knowledge of wedding and event operations is highly desirable
