We are seeking Support Workers to work in our Supported Accommodation Services. Successful applicants will be available to cover evenings, weekends, sleep-ins and lone work. Previous experience is preferred but not essential and training will be given.
Responsibilities:
As part of the team, you'll:
- Support young people with high and specialised needs in their journey to independence, providing advocacy and the necessary skills for living independently
- Help young people identify their goals for future housing and employment/education/training
- Signpost and access services that help young people manage areas of their lives which impact on their ability to live independently
- Safeguard the young people that will be accommodated within the service
Requirements:
- A commitment to empowering young people
- The ability to work flexibly and as part of a team as well as independently
- A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
