We are looking to recruit a qualified Dispenser to join our growing hybrid Pharmacy/Dispensary at Holt Medical Practice.
This is to cover a 12 month maternity leave - 3-4 days a week.
The Role - As a dispenser you will be part of a team dealing with patient queries, stock handling and dispensing medication. Good I.T. skills are important; as is the ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines. We benefit at Holt from having an experienced team consisting of Accredited Checking Technicians, a Pharmacy Supervisor and Clinical Pharmacists. There are training opportunities available for those that wish to progress.
The Terms - Our rate of pay is £13.43 per hour, 5 weeks holiday, Company Sick Pay and NHS Pension. There is free on-site parking, lunch and rostered tea breaks and a staff discount in the Pharmacy.
The Applicant - The successful applicants will ideally have a minimum NVQ2 dispensing qualification, be well organised, flexible, hardworking and professional. A full driving licence is useful. Excellent customer care skills with a friendly, helpful personality are essential. Good sense of humour goes a long way.
