Job Title: Wedding and Events Sales Executive
Salary: NEG, OTE £32K
Location: ESSEX
The Warren Estate is an unique venue, that specialises in delivering incredible Weddings and Events. The Sales executive is responsible for driving sales of the Estates many income streams, but will have an extensive background of Wedding Sales.
We are looking for an enthusiastic self-starter with a proven sales track record, ready with proactive ideas about how they can maximise revenue and deliver exceptional results.
Key responsibilities:
- Handle incoming enquiries and put together quotes based on the clients requirements
- Proactive follow up of all enquiries and target focused conversion of all enquiries and overseeing the events team enquiries.
- Be accustomed to reporting on sales funnels and the effectiveness on marketing campaigns measured by a series of KPIs, from sales enquiries through to completions.
- Arrange and conduct site visits
- Proactively reach out via social media and on- line services to generate sales enquiries
- Oversee and Plan all aspects of the events, creating detailed function sheets
- Ensure all events are invoiced and reconciled in a timely manner
- Undertake competitor analysis
- To report weekly department sales meetings
- Co-ordination of events from sale to initial guest meeting
- Effective sales skills to up-sell products and services
- Some Knowledge of menu planning, food trends and presentation, and banquet and event service operations
- Work closely with all operational staff to ensure exceptional customer experience throughout all events.
- Keep up to date with wedding and social event trends.
- Together with the senior management team co-ordinate a detailed Monthly, Quartey and Yearly marketing plan in line with the companies objectives.
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous Wedding & Event management experience within a quality hospitality environment;
- Previous Wedding Sales a Must have.
- This role will require working weekends.
- A professional telephone manner;
- Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes;
- Good time management and organisational skills;
- A friendly but professional work ethic;
- Enthusiasm and willingness to learn;
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in events/hospitality sales
- Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
- A clear understanding of the benefits of Social media
- Strong communication skills
- Proven experience of achieving sales targets
- Proactive approach to work
- Excellent team player and lead a department of two full-time staff
