Duties
- Deliver personalized care to residents, assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Support residents in maintaining their independence and dignity through respectful communication and encouragement
- Follow individual care plans meticulously to meet each resident’s specific needs and preferences
- Maintain accurate records of care provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company policies
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to promote a warm and welcoming environment
- Support the smooth running of the home during both day and night shifts, including responding promptly to emergencies or urgent needs
Skills
- Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with residents, families, and colleagues
- Ability to work flexibly across day and night shifts while maintaining high standards of care
- Experience working in a care home or providing home care is highly desirable
- Familiarity with care plans and the ability to follow detailed instructions precisely
- IT skills for documenting care activities accurately and efficiently
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with residents and team members
