As our Professional Lead of Radiography, you’ll play a central role in shaping services that will support our communities for decades to come.
About the Role
This is a high-impact senior leadership position at the heart of Radiology. You will:
Lead and develop Radiography and Diagnostics services across the Trust
Champion innovation, service transformation, and continuous improvement
Drive high-quality, patient-centred care and safety
Provide professional leadership and a strong voice for radiographers locally and across the ICS
Oversee performance, governance, workforce strategy, and financial stewardship
Act as the Trust’s lead for radiation protection and IR(ME)R compliance
Working closely with senior clinical and operational leaders, you’ll ensure our services remain high-performing, sustainable, and forward-looking, delivering outstanding care every day.

What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for a confident, forward-thinking leader who can inspire teams and deliver change. You will have:
HCPC registration and a degree in Radiography
Significant experience leading Radiology services and driving transformation
Strong knowledge of clinical standards, governance, and NHS policy
Proven ability to lead teams through change and deliver performance
Excellent communication, influencing, and strategic thinking skills
You’ll be passionate about developing people, improving services, and creating a culture where staff feel empowered, supported, and engaged.
