Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems, equipment, and machinery to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and structural issues using schematics, technical manuals, and your hands-on skills.
- Operate welding equipment safely to carry out metal repairs or fabrication tasks as needed.
- Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings to diagnose issues accurately.
- Manage small projects or repairs independently while supervising or coordinating with other team members when necessary.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for accountability and future reference.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing facility-related concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive experience for all building users.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems efficiently.
- Electrical experience including working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and understanding electrical schematics.
- Skilled in welding techniques with a focus on safety standards and precision work.
- Knowledge of maintenance procedures across various building systems and equipment.
- Leadership qualities with previous supervising experience in maintenance or facilities roles.
- Excellent communication skills in English to effectively coordinate tasks and report issues clearly.
- Customer service orientation with the ability to handle requests professionally while maintaining safety protocols.
