Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of pasta dishes with precision and creativity, ensuring consistent quality and presentation
- Follow established recipes and kitchen procedures to maintain food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Assist in meal preparation by chopping ingredients, measuring spices, and assembling components for dishes
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and cooking equipment throughout shifts
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours
- Monitor ingredient inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
- Serve finished dishes promptly while ensuring they meet the restaurant’s quality standards
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar kitchen role, preferably within a restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of pasta types, cooking techniques, and culinary practices related to Italian cuisine
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to food safety regulations and proper hygiene procedures
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards serving guests
- Prior experience in meal preparation, food safety protocols, and kitchen operations is highly desirable
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
