We are seeking an experienced CAD Designer to join our growing design team. This role is ideal for a self-motivated professional who can confidently lead design and coordination tasks while managing multiple projects through all stages — from concept to construction and final delivery.
You will be part of a passionate, hands-on team where your ideas will be valued, your skills developed, and your work seen in some of the most luxurious spa and wellness facilities across the UK .
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of bespoke wellness environments, including pools, spas, saunas, and experience rooms.
- Produce highly detailed technical and engineering drawings using AutoCAD and related software.
- Manage design projects from initial brief through to site delivery, ensuring quality, timelines, and budgets are met.
- Attend and lead client-facing meetings, design reviews, and coordination sessions.
- Conduct site surveys and translate architectural and MEP data into actionable technical information.
- Oversee preparation of scope of works, finishes schedules, and construction documentation.
- Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, fabricators, and site teams to ensure design intent is maintained throughout.
- Ensure brand standards and design consistency across all documentation.
- Proactively identify risks and resolve technical or design issues in a timely and practical manner.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in CAD design within construction, architectural or MEP environments.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (min. 3 years), with a portfolio of completed and constructed projects.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects and leading design packages.
- Comfortable in client-facing roles, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Solid understanding of construction detailing and MEP coordination.
- Working knowledge of SolidWorks or similar 3D design software is a strong advantage.
- Strong visualisation and sketching abilities, with a keen eye for design aesthetics and technical accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, managing time and workload effectively.
- Experience producing finishes schedules, design documentation, and technical specifications.
