Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Team Members who are 18 or over (due to licencing conditions) to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, providing exceptional service to our guests and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. You will play a key part in enhancing the dining experience through your hospitality skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, demonstrating knowledge of the menu and specials.
- Assist with food preparation and ensure food safety standards are adhered to at all times.
- Manage the dining area, ensuring cleanliness and organisation throughout service periods.
- Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure a positive experience.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages.
- Maintain a high standard of hospitality, ensuring that all guests feel valued and appreciated.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential.
- Understanding of food safety practices and culinary skills is advantageous.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods effectively.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on providing help and support to guests.
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
