ROLE: Low Level Order Picker (LLOP, A2)
AREA: Hortonwood, Telford.
STATIC SHIFTS AVAILABLE.
Shift: Monday - Friday
6AM - 2PM OR 2PM - 10PM.
PAY RATES: £13.40 OR £15.17 per hour
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing various warehouse operations, ensuring efficient handling of materials, and maintaining a safe working environment. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse management systems and the ability to perform heavy lifting and mechanical tasks.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
- Manage materials handling processes, including loading and unloading goods
- Operating A2 LLOP license
- Utilise warehouse management systems for tracking inventory and stock levels
- Perform picking and packing tasks to prepare orders for shipping
- Assist in shipping and receiving activities, ensuring accuracy in documentation
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the warehouse environment
Experience
- Previous warehouse experience is essential, with a strong understanding of stocking procedures
- Familiarity with mechanical knowledge related to warehouse operations is advantageous
- Experience in construction or related fields is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the role
