The opportunity
We are seeking a Growth Marketing Executive to help deliver Trowbridge’s agreed marketing plan across campaigns, content, digital channels, events and new business activity.
This is a practical, developmental role for a marketer who has built a good foundation and is ready to take the next step. Working closely with the Fractional CMO, you will turn agreed priorities into well-organised activity, support the creation and improvement of new-business funnels, and use AI intelligently to improve the speed and quality of day-to-day marketing work.
You will initially work from clear objectives, briefs and measures agreed with the Fractional CMO. As your confidence and capability develop, you will take increasing responsibility for selected campaigns, channels and stages of the acquisition journey. You will collaborate with Sales, Client Success, Creative and external partners, bringing energy, attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
The role is intended to provide a pathway towards Growth Marketing Manager-level responsibilities over approximately 18–24 months, subject to performance, capability development and the needs of the business.
About Trowbridge Gallery
Established in 1981, Trowbridge Gallery is a trusted trade partner to interior designers, architects, hospitality groups, retailers and design professionals around the world. From our London gallery, Sussex studio and permanent showroom at High Point Market in North Carolina, we help clients source exclusive, beautifully crafted artwork for exceptional interiors.
Our reputation is built on artistic integrity, premium craftsmanship, thoughtful design, dependable service and established client relationships. As we continue to develop our collections, strengthen our international partnerships and create new opportunities for growth, we are looking for an organised and commercially aware marketer who is excited by AI, brand building and the opportunity to develop new acquisition skills.
Guidance and development
The Fractional CMO will set the overall marketing strategy, agree annual and quarterly priorities, approve major campaigns and budgets, establish the KPI framework, and provide regular direction, coaching and feedback.
You will be supported to build practical capability across integrated campaign delivery, acquisition, CRM, content, analytics, AI-enabled workflows and event marketing. At the outset, the emphasis will be on reliable execution and learning. Over time, you will be encouraged to make recommendations, run agreed tests and manage selected workstreams more independently.
Key responsibilities - Marketing plan and campaign coordination
You will support the Fractional CMO in translating the agreed marketing plan into clear day-to-day activity. This will include maintaining the marketing calendar; coordinating campaigns across email, social, website, content, events, partnerships and selected paid channels; preparing briefs; gathering information and assets; tracking deadlines and approvals; and keeping colleagues and suppliers informed.
You will help deliver product and collection launches, seasonal activity, showroom initiatives, stockist communications, sales enablement and other agreed priorities. Once the objectives, audiences, messages, budget and measures have been agreed, you will progressively take responsibility for selected smaller campaigns from set-up through delivery and initial reporting.
Acquisition and new-business funnel support
Working with the Fractional CMO and Sales team, you will help develop and deliver activity that attracts interior designers, stockists, retailers and other priority trade partners.
Your responsibilities will include:
· Supporting agreed acquisition campaigns across appropriate organic and paid channels.
· Helping prepare landing pages, forms, calls to action and campaign journeys using approved messages and designs.
· Coordinating the capture, tagging, routing and follow-up of enquiries, trade-account registrations and appointments.
· Building and maintaining agreed email or CRM nurture activity, with guidance on audiences, content and timing.
· Monitoring how leads move through the funnel, identifying gaps or delays and raising them with the Fractional CMO and Sales team.
· Supporting agreed tests of messages, creative, audiences, channels or journey steps and documenting the results.
· Researching market, audience and competitor activity to inform campaign ideas and practical improvements.
You will not be expected to design the entire acquisition strategy or attribution model independently at the outset. These capabilities will be developed through coaching, experience and increasing ownership of selected funnel stages.
AI-native marketing practice
You will use approved AI tools confidently, responsibly and with curiosity as part of your everyday work. This may include supporting research and idea generation; developing first drafts and content variations; repurposing material across channels; preparing briefs; organising information; analysing straightforward campaign results; documenting processes; and automating suitable repetitive tasks.
You will be encouraged to explore useful tools and suggest ways to improve defined workflows. All AI-assisted output must be checked carefully and comply with Trowbridge’s standards for brand voice, accuracy, originality, intellectual property, privacy and approval. Training and guidance will be provided where appropriate, but you should be genuinely enthusiastic about learning and applying AI well.
Brand, content and digital channels
You will help present Trowbridge as a distinctive, premium and trusted partner to the international design community. You will create, adapt, edit and coordinate content for the website, email, social media, editorial features, sales materials, advertisements and other campaign touchpoints, working from agreed messages and brand guidelines.
You will support the day-to-day management of relevant channels, including Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook and LinkedIn. This will include scheduling activity, checking presentation and links, monitoring responses, coordinating approvals and maintaining an orderly content plan.
You will also coordinate product photography, room sets, video and other creative assets; maintain an accurate, accessible asset library; and work with designers, photographers, agencies and other specialists when required. Meticulous checking of copy, imagery, specifications and presentation will be essential.
CRM, email and lifecycle activity
You will build and deliver approved email and CRM activity that supports acquisition, engagement, event attendance, client development and reactivation. Working with the Fractional CMO, Sales and Client Success teams, you will help maintain accurate data, useful segmentation and consistent follow-up.
You will prepare campaign lists, build and test emails, schedule approved sends, update CRM records and support agreed nurture sequences. You will monitor straightforward measures such as delivery, opens, clicks, responses, conversions and lead progression, then summarise the results and flag opportunities or issues for review.
Attention to consent, preferences, data quality and the appropriate handling of client information will be essential.
Exhibitions, showrooms and events
You will play an active role in Trowbridge’s key exhibitions, showroom activity and industry events. This includes attending High Point Market in North Carolina, USA, twice each year, alongside other agreed UK and international events.
You will support the event marketing cycle by:
· Preparing pre and post eshots, appointment communications and pre-event content.
· Coordinating approved campaign activity, social posts, sales materials and practical marketing requirements.
· Organising collateral, presentations, digital tools, samples and lead-capture processes.
· Representing the brand professionally on site, supporting client engagement and capturing useful content.
· Ensuring leads and notes are entered accurately into the CRM and followed up promptly after each event.
· Preparing a clear summary of event activity, outcomes, learning and actions.
Regular travel and flexibility around event schedules are essential. Exhibitions may require occasional evening, weekend or out-of-pattern work, with arrangements agreed in advance.
What success looks like
In your first 12 months, success will mean:
· Agreed marketing activity is organised, accurate, on time and consistent with the Trowbridge brand.
· Campaign calendars, briefs, assets, approvals and follow-up actions are well maintained.
· Digital and event-generated leads are captured accurately and progressed consistently with Sales and Client Success.
· Email, CRM, social and website activity are delivered reliably and measured against agreed objectives.
· AI tools are used thoughtfully to improve speed or quality without compromising accuracy, judgement or brand standards.
· High Point Market and other priority events receive strong practical support before, during and after each event.
· Reporting is accurate, useful and increasingly accompanied by well-reasoned observations and recommendations.
· You demonstrate growing confidence and take increasing ownership of selected campaigns, channels or funnel stages.
Development towards Growth Marketing Manager
Over approximately 18–24 months, and subject to performance and business requirements, you will be supported to develop towards responsibilities that may include:
· Independently planning and managing selected integrated campaigns against agreed commercial objectives.
· Taking greater ownership of defined acquisition funnels, nurture journeys and conversion improvements.
· Recommending and running structured tests, then applying the learning to future campaigns.
· Interpreting performance information and presenting clear optimisation recommendations.
· Managing selected channel or campaign budgets within agreed parameters.
· Establishing repeatable AI-enabled workflows for approved areas of marketing delivery.
· Managing larger parts of the event marketing cycle and its commercial follow-through.
Progression will be based on demonstrated capability and impact rather than time served alone.
About you
You are an organised, proactive and commercially curious marketer who enjoys turning ideas and plans into well-executed activity. You care about the details—language, imagery, presentation, data and follow-up—but also want to understand how marketing contributes to enquiries, relationships and growth.
You are genuinely enthusiastic about AI and interested in using it to research, create, organise, analyse or automate work more effectively. You apply common sense, check outputs carefully and are keen to learn better ways of working.
You are comfortable asking questions, receiving feedback and developing through coaching. You take responsibility for your work, communicate clearly and look for practical solutions when problems arise. An interest in art, interiors, design, luxury products or premium client experiences would help you connect with the Trowbridge brand and audience.
Essential experience and capabilities
· Relevant practical experience in marketing, digital, content, communications or a related role, typically gained over one to three years.
· Experience supporting or delivering campaigns across at least two channels, such as email, social media, website content, events or paid media.
· Strong organisation, time management and attention to detail, with the ability to coordinate several tasks and deadlines.
· Good writing, editing and proofreading skills, with care for visual presentation and brand consistency.
· Familiarity with email marketing, CRM, social scheduling, website content or campaign analytics, with a willingness to deepen these skills.
· Practical interest in generative AI and automation tools, together with a responsible approach to accuracy and quality control.
· Confidence working with straightforward performance information and preparing clear summaries.
· A proactive, collaborative and coachable approach, with the confidence to work with colleagues, suppliers and external partners.
· Willingness and ability to travel on occasion in the UK and internationally, including to the USA twice per year for High Point Market.
Desirable experience
Experience in luxury, interiors, art, design, home, hospitality or another premium brand environment would be valuable, as would exposure to trade or B2B audiences and the US market. Familiarity with a website CMS or e-commerce platform, paid social or search, SEO, marketing automation, dashboards, Canva or Adobe Creative Suite, Hootsuite, and event marketing would also be advantageous.
