SR Drivers are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers on behalf of a well-established transport and logistics client based in Warrington (WA4).
This is a fantastic opportunity for professional drivers looking for consistent Monday to Friday day work, straightforward trunking, and the flexibility of ongoing assignments or ad hoc shifts to suit their availability.

Pay & Benefits
Choose how you receive your holiday entitlement:
- £16.00 per hour PAYE (holiday accrued separately)
OR
- £17.93 per hour PAYE (inclusive of 12.07% holiday pay)

The Role
As an HGV Class 1 Driver, your responsibilities will include:
- Trunking between depots and distribution centres
- Safe and efficient transportation of goods
- Completing daily vehicle safety checks and defect reporting
- Accurately completing delivery paperwork and PODs
- Following Drivers' Hours, Tachograph and Working Time Directive regulations
- Communicating professionally with transport planners and depot teams
- Representing SR Drivers and our client in a professional manner at all times

Driver Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Valid UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous HGV Class 1 driving experience
- Good understanding of Drivers' Hours, Tachograph and Working Time Directive regulations
- Professional, reliable and safety-focused attitude
- Good communication skills
- No major driving endorsements
