Due to the secure nature of the programme, you will need to hold UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through this clearance. This is a hybrid position.
Your future duties and responsibilities
In this role, you will help ensure our Leeds office operates safely, efficiently and professionally. You’ll take ownership of front-of-house and facilities activities, welcoming visitors and contractors, coordinating meeting spaces, monitoring the workplace and proactively identifying issues that need attention.
You’ll work closely with colleagues, facilities partners and contractors to maintain high standards across the site. You’ll have the opportunity to use your initiative to improve everyday workplace services while being supported by a collaborative team that values excellent service, practical ideas and shared responsibility.
~ Welcome & Support: Provide a professional welcome and check-in experience for all visitors and contractors.
~Coordinate & Organise: Manage reception and personal inboxes, conference room bookings and lost property.
~Manage & Escort: Coordinate and escort contractors and visitors as required.
~Monitor & Maintain: Conduct regular site patrols and proactively identify and report building faults.
~Support & Safeguard: Complete weekly fire alarm testing and contribute to a safe, well-managed workplace.
~Maintain & Improve: Keep reception areas professional, clean and organised while identifying opportunities to improve the workplace experience.
~Stock & Coordinate: Maintain vending consumables, office refreshments and associated stock levels.
~Collaborate & Deliver: Work with colleagues and facilities contractors to support reliable hard and soft FM services.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
You should have experience supporting facilities management within a professional workplace and bring a strong customer-service mindset. You’ll be organised, proactive and comfortable communicating with colleagues, visitors and contractors, with the administrative skills to coordinate multiple day-to-day facilities activities effectively.
~Experience in facilities management or workplace operations within a professional environment.
~Excellent communication skills with a confident, professional and welcoming approach.
~Strong customer focus and commitment to delivering a positive workplace experience.
~Experience supporting hard and soft facilities services and contractor management.
Good administrative skills with the ability to organise, prioritise and maintain accurate information.
Proven ability to work proactively, identify issues and take ownership through to resolution.
~Ability to work collaboratively while confidently managing day-to-day responsibilities.
~Security requirements: You must be a single UK national and prepared to undergo National Security Vetting (NSV) to enhanced Security Check (SC) level.
