We are looking to welcome a Nursery Manager at Nanny Bears Broadclyst!
Are you an experienced Room Lead, Senior Practitioner or Deputy Manager looking to progress into your first Nursery Manager role?
At Nanny Bears, we believe great managers are developed from passionate practitioners who truly understand children, families and their team. If you're ready to take the next step in your career within a supportive and nurturing environment, we'd love to hear from you.
Our beautiful, homely nursery in Broadclyst cares for just 10 children under the age of three, creating a calm, family-focused environment where children receive highly individualised care and staff are valued as part of the Nanny Bears family.
We are looking for a warm, enthusiastic and motivated Nursery Manager who shares our values and is committed to creating a nurturing environment where every child is cared for as if they were one of our own.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to lead a small, dedicated team within a unique setting that prioritises quality over quantity.
The role is offered on a 41-hour contract worked across four days per week, with Wednesday as your fixed non-working day, supporting a healthy work-life balance while providing consistency for the nursery team and families.
As Nursery Manager, you will:
- Lead and inspire a small team of practitioners to provide exceptional care and learning experiences.
- Create a warm, welcoming and nurturing environment for children and their families.
- Build strong and positive relationships with parents and carers.
- Ensure high standards of care, learning, safeguarding and compliance are maintained at all times.
- Support the planning and delivery of engaging experiences tailored to each child's individual needs and interests.
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the nursery.
- Maintain compliance with EYFS requirements, policies and procedures.
- Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team, receiving ongoing mentoring and support as you develop your management skills.
- Support occupancy growth and the continued success of the nursery.
- Champion the Nanny Bears ethos of creating a true home-from-home environment.
This role would be particularly suited to someone who is ready to move into management for the first time and is looking for a supportive company that will invest in their development.
