New Day Children’s Services LTD are a new and growing business who are seeking a Registered Manager, to join their team in Salisbury.
Available shift patterns are:
40h a week – these can vary to meet the needs of the business.
Salary:
£45,000-£50,000 depending on experience.
Duties:
- To be registered with OFSTED as a Registered Manager for a Residential Childrens Home
- To lead and grow a team to work with Children using a trauma informed approach
- To build positive relationships with children and young people who have experienced trauma
- To complete audits, Reg 44 visits, Reg 45 report, and OFSTED visits
- To write and update the young people’s documentations and reviewing incidents and safeguarding reports, ensuring all actions are recorded and completed.
- To have a full understanding of safeguarding procedures and report to external agencies including LADO, MASH and OFSTED as required.
- To line manager, develop and mentor team members.
- To have a knowledge of Regulatory Notifications and submit these when required.
- To be able to supervise, carry out probationary meetings and debrief adults as required.
- To hold on call responsibilities.

Requirements
Full driving license
NVQ/ QCF Level 3/5 Residential Childcare qualified/ qualified or working towards
Have at least 12 months of experience working in a management position.
Have at least 2 years in the last 5 years working in a residential children's home.
Ability to work flexible hours to support the staff team and participate in an on-call rota as required.
Strong numeracy, literacy and computer skills,
Strong communication skills
In line with safer recruitment, there is a requirement for an enhanced DBS check to be completed for this role.
