Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in commercial settings. This role is essential in creating a safe, clean, and pleasant environment for all users of the facility.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and other high-traffic areas.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste in line with environmental regulations.
- Replenish cleaning supplies, toiletries, and consumables as needed.
- Operate cleaning machinery such as floor buffers and carpet cleaners (training will be provided if required).
- Respond to specific cleaning tasks as requested by management.
- Maintain the highest standards of health and safety by following company policies and using cleaning products responsibly.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or hazards to the supervisor promptly.
- Adhere to all security protocols and maintain confidentiality in sensitive areas.
Skills
- Prior experience in a similar cleaning role working fish (preferred but not essential).
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment (training provided if necessary).
