Working Hours & Availability
This is an all year round role . Applicants must be available to work shifts between the hours of 7:30am and 6:00pm, to accommodate the nursery’s opening times. Working patterns are set on a rota basis and discussed in advance. Full-time or part time available.

Job Role and Responsibilities
As an Early Years Practitioner, you’ll play a vital role in creating a positive and engaging learning environment for children aged 0–5 years. Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning, delivering and evaluating age-appropriate, creative, and engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Observing and assessing children's progress, providing feedback to parents, colleagues and external professionals as required
- Maintain accurate records
- Building strong relationships with children, families, and the wider nursery team, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere
- Promoting and providing a safe, caring, and inclusive environment ensuring the health and wellbeing of all children
- Contributing to team meetings, and participating in training and continuous professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
- Supporting the nursery’s values of inclusivity, kindness, and community
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Qualified to a minimum of Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare/Early Years Education
- A genuine passion for working with young children and an understanding of their developmental needs.
- Friendly, nurturing, and approachable
- A strong team player with good communication and organisational skills while also demonstrating initiative when required
- Knowledgeable about EYFS principles, safeguarding, and health & safety
