Role Overview
We are looking for an individual who will deliver high-quality, person-centred care to clients in their own homes and throughout the local community. Working on a 3 on/3 off shift pattern, you will provide assistance, companionship, and support according to individual care plans, helping clients maintain independence and dignity.
Key Responsibilities
· Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as washing, dressing, and toileting
· Support with mobility, transfers, and use of equipment (hoists, wheelchairs, etc.)
· Administer medication as required and maintain accurate records
· Prepare meals and support with eating and drinking
· Offer emotional encouragement and companionship
· Carry out light domestic tasks, including cleaning and laundry
· Provide updates to families and work collaboratively with healthcare professionals
· Respect confidentiality and uphold the dignity and rights of all clients
· Respond to emergencies and escalate concerns appropriately
Shift Pattern
This role operates on a 3 on/3 off basis, typically involving three consecutive days of work followed by three days off. Shifts may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays, offering flexibility and work-life balance.

Desirable Qualifications
· Previous experience in care (community, domiciliary, or residential)
· Relevant care certificates or NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care (not essential – training given)
· Full driving licence and access to a vehicle
