Field Service Engineer - Commercial Catering & Refrigeration Equipment

HTG Trading is looking for an experienced and motivated Field Service Engineer to join our growing service team.
If you have strong electrical and mechanical skills, experience working on commercial catering or refrigeration equipment, and enjoy solving problems while delivering excellent customer service, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Be Doing
- Servicing, repairing and commissioning commercial catering and refrigeration equipment at customer premises.
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs efficiently to achieve high first-time fix rates.
- Performing planned preventative maintenance visits.
- Providing professional and friendly customer support on-site.
- Working closely with our Service Centre team to manage service calls and priorities.
- Identifying potential equipment upgrade or replacement opportunities and feeding these back to our Sales team.
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with company policies and industry standards.
What We're Looking For
- Experience servicing commercial catering and/or refrigeration equipment
- Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
- Excellent problem-solving ability
- Professional and customer-focused approach
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable Qualifications
- F-Gas Certification
- PSSR knowledge or certification
- Manufacturer training or industry-recognised qualifications
