Job Summary
GlobalConnect Europe Ltd. (GCEL) is a London-based energy investment and business development entity representing international energy and infrastructure initiatives. We are seeking a detail-oriented Operations & Compliance Manager of immediate availability for hiring (August 1st, 2026) to manage daily administrative functions, oversee internal corporate record-keeping, and maintain compliance across official UK regulatory and workforce management systems. In this role, you will serve as the primary operational anchor in, coordinating business administration, interfacing with external legal and accounting partners, and acting as a formally designated system administrator for internal and government-facing workforce databases.
Key Responsibilities
System & Compliance Management:
Formally serve as the designated internal system manager on registered UK government workforce databases and compliance platforms as part of core employment duties.
Operational Coordination:
Oversees general office administration, corporate correspondence, and business logistics for the UK entity.
Record & Database Management:
Maintain up-to-date corporate documentation, contract files, financial reporting schedules, and statutory compliance records.
Stakeholder Liaison:
Interface with UK banking institutions, legal advisors, accountants, and external corporate partners.
HR Compliance:
Ensure compliant HR systems including monthly payroll, PAYE, UK compliant visa status and right to work for all employees, and UK compliant contracts for all employees.
Requirements:
Must be British Citizen required due to statutory database administration rules.
2+ years of proven experience in office administration, operations management, and statutory compliance. Should have previous knowledge and experience acting as Company Sponsor License liason for foreign Skilled Workers.
Comfortable acting as a named administrator on government portals, corporate databases, and workforce software systems. Should have good knowledge of MS Office software (Outlook, MS Word, Excel and Power Point).
Excellent communication, strong organizational capabilities, and complete discretion handling high-level corporate documentation.
Benefits:
UK employment contract, company email, PAYE registered, £500 per months.
Remote part time working model.
Flexible but limited hours (average 2 hrs per week may be higher in 1st month reaching 8 hrs per week).
