Position:
We are looking for Cleaners to join our friendly Facilities team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in creating clean, safe and welcoming spaces. You will help maintain high standards of hygiene and presentation across our sites, supporting students, staff and visitors.
Your work will make a real difference by ensuring our environments reflect the care and quality that define Henshaws, helping people to thrive and feel valued.
Salary: £13.05 per hour/£25,786.80 per annum
Hours per week: 38
Weeks per year: 52
Annual leave: 5 weeks plus 10 days bank holiday

Location: Henshaws Specialist College in Starbeck and Henshaws Arts and Crafts Centre in Knaresborough

Requirements
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience in cleaning or infection control, or relevant practical experience
- Can maintain a high level of cleanliness and work efficiently while paying attention to detail
- Is self-motivated and able to work on their own initiative
- Has good communication skills and a respectful, friendly attitude
- Is flexible and willing to work across both sites as needed
- Understands the importance of health and safety and hygiene standards
You will need to complete an enhanced DBS check with child barring. Training will be provided, and we welcome applications from all sections of the community.
