Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and personable over 18 year old Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a lively hospitality environment, providing excellent service to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, good organisational skills, and a friendly demeanour. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. All roles are paid positions, ensuring fair compensation for your efforts.
Duties
- Serve drinks and refreshments to customers in a courteous and efficient manner
- Take orders accurately and handle cash or card payments using the POS system, cashing up till and balance sheets

- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including cleaning fridges, wiping down surfaces and restocking supplies
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards at all times
- Monitor customer behaviour to promote responsible drinking and safety
- Collaborate with team members to deliver a seamless customer experience
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to minimise wait times
Experience
- Previous experience in bar, hospitality, food service is essential
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures is desirable
- Strong serving skills with a friendly and professional attitude
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Excellent time management abilities to prioritise tasks efficiently
- Ability to work well under pressure during busy service hours
- Personable nature with strong communication skills
