Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are noted
- Serve meals and drinks efficiently while maintaining presentation standards
- Assist with setting up tables, clearing dishes, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and maximise sales opportunities
- Ensure food safety standards are adhered to at all times
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely delivery of orders
- Handle guest queries professionally and resolve any issues promptly
- Maintain knowledge of menu items and restaurant policies
- Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant service preferred
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour
- Basic maths skills for handling bills and payments accurately
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tables efficiently
- Kitchen or culinary experience is advantageous but not essential
- Time management skills to ensure prompt service during busy periods
- Ability to upsell menu items tactfully to enhance guest experience
- Effective communication skills to interact clearly with guests and team members
