The Business Development Director is a new and business critical role for the continued growth and development of the CFS business. This role will be responsible for the overall sales performance, sales strategy and grow our proposition to the markets we serve.
The heart of CFS performance is to ensure it operates on a profitable basis with turnover growth and margin performance exceeding expectations. All Departments have their own targets and to meet and it is crucial that the Sales Department meet and exceed target to contribute and ensure the business growth is in line/exceeding the set budgets. A key part of the Business Development Director Role will be identifying new customers regarding Install projects.
Job Description:
- Lead the sales strategy and delivery on new business opportunities.
- Ensure opportunities are maximised and converted in line with agreed margins.
- Build your own pipeline of new sales opportunities.
- Build a pipeline of tender opportunities.
- Provide the strategy and vision for sales to support the CFS Board Business Plan over the next 3 years.
- Own the reporting of monthly forecasts for sales to be presented at the monthly Board Meetings.
- Track, measure and analyze commercial metrics using monthly/annual sales targets and new customer KPIs.
- Provide input and collaboration with other sales members across the Asset Protection Group at Monthly Sales Meetings.
- Attend and organise networking events.
- Liaise with operations to ensure they are aware on new key client margins and timescales for mobilisations
- Account management of new critical Key Accounts and growth where relevant
- Effective management of Customer Care and Retention.
- Own the performance of marketing activities to demonstrate a ROI.
- Identify and support in new revenue streams – ie business sectors.
- Provide to the Board competitor awareness insight.
