Pay: £13.00 per hour (Monday–Friday) | £13.50 per hour (Weekends)
Hours: 9:00am – 1:00pm
Working Pattern (2-week rolling rota):
- Week 1: Sunday, Monday & Tuesday
- Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday & Friday
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and caring Domestic Assistant to join our friendly team at our residential care home for older people.
As a Domestic Assistant, you will play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for our residents, visitors and staff. High standards of cleanliness are essential in providing quality care, and your work will make a real difference to the comfort and wellbeing of the people who live in our home.
About the Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Cleaning residents' bedrooms, bathrooms and communal areas to a high standard.
- Vacuuming, mopping, dusting and polishing throughout the home.
- Cleaning and disinfecting high-touch surfaces in line with infection prevention and control procedures.
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste safely.
- Replenishing cleaning supplies and toiletries where required.
- Reporting any maintenance issues or health and safety concerns.
- Working as part of the wider care home team to ensure the home remains clean, comfortable and welcoming.

Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Additional Hours Available
Although this is a part-time position, there will be opportunities to work additional hours by providing cover for staff sickness and annual leave. Flexibility to work extra shifts when required would be an advantage.
