Discovery Vine Childcare are seeking to recruit a Pre School Manager to oversee their Pre School Nursery and Out of School Club based at Grimargh St Michaels Church of England Primary School.
Candidates will hold Level 3 qualification in Early Years.
Desirable candidate will hold a Level 6 qualification with either Qualified Teacher Status / Early Years Professional Status / Early Years Teacher Status.
The position can either be term time only or all year round.
Skills required are:
- 2 years managerial experience is essential
- Excellent working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum
- Knowledge of Early Years Teaching
- Sensitivity and understanding
- Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations
- Leadership skills
- Strong safeguarding knowledge
- SENCO experience and knowledge
- Business management skills
- ICT skills
Day-To-Day tasks include:
- Keeping records.
- Working within environmental, health and safety fire regulations.
- Keeping up to date with developments in early years care.
- Building relationships with parents, carers, schools and childcare professionals.
- Making sure the nursery meets Ofsted and early years foundation stage standards.
- Running the day to day nursery

Area Manager and Company Directors
The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS procedure to ensure the safety of the children.
