As a key member of the Sales team, you will own and lead Pangaea’s sales operations function, helping to build the systems, processes and infrastructure needed to support Pangaea’s growing commercial organisation. You will work closely with Pangaea’s senior leadership team to ensure customer opportunities are effectively tracked, followed up and progressed, while providing the data, insights and processes needed to optimise sales performance and support commercial strategy.
You will take ownership of Pangaea’s sales operations processes, including developing and optimising Pangaea’s CRM, establishing scalable workflows, managing pipeline and forecasting processes, coordinating customer outreach and follow-ups, preparing materials and turning sales data into actionable insights for sales leadership.
- Manage the sales pipeline, ensuring opportunities are qualified, progressed and have clear ownership, next steps and timelines.
- Develop and maintain robust sales forecasting processes, providing accurate pipeline and revenue forecasts to support commercial planning and decision-making.
- Analyse sales performance and pipeline data to identify trends, risks, bottlenecks and opportunities, translating findings into actionable recommendations.
- Build and maintain executive dashboards, reports and KPIs to provide visibility into pipeline health, sales performance and commercial activity.
- Proactively manage customer follow-ups from meetings, demonstrations, conferences and other sales engagements.
- Connect customer opportunities, contacts, organisations and existing projects to identify and maximise commercial opportunities.
- Assist with the development and customisation of presentations, proposals and other customer-facing materials.
- Coordinate preparation for customer meetings, demonstrations and workshops.
- Conduct research and provide insights on prospective healthcare organisations, pharmaceutical companies, clinical areas and relevant guidelines to support sales strategy.
- Coordinate timelines, actions and deliverables across internal teams, including the transition of sales opportunities into projects and identification of new opportunities.
- Identify opportunities for process automation, system improvements and integrations, and lead cross-functional initiatives to implement scalable solutions.
- Ensure the integrity and consistency of sales data across the CRM and relevant connected tools and systems.
- Take ownership of ad hoc commercial projects and activities as required.
- Act with urgency, integrity and a strong focus on the customer.
- Expert user of CRM systems (preferably Hubspot) and other data and digital tools.
- Experience building CRM workflows, automation, dashboards and reporting frameworks.
- Experience in sales operations, commercial operations, business development, marketing or project coordination.
- Experience with sales forecasting and pipeline management.
- Experience working with healthcare, pharmaceutical, or life sciences companies.
- Experience supporting customer-facing teams or C-suite stakeholders.
- Understanding of software solutions across research, clinical and commercial environments.
- Highly organised, reliable and detail oriented.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to take ownership and follow tasks through to completion.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
